Why do I coach?
“I started playing rec volleyball when I moved to Sheridan and fell in love with the sport. I love seeing kids grow and find confidence in themselves that can be carried into future endeavors.”
What do I look forward to teaching my team?
“I look forward to seeing the players work and grow together to become better athletes and people. I want to show kids how important showing up for yourself and your teammates is and the most important, volleyball is fun!”
Why the philosophy of coaching "person first, athlete second" is important to me:
“Learning to work hard, be kind and become a team player is important as an athlete, but even more important as a person. Learning person first, athlete second is a transferable skill that will benefit athletes beyond sporting careers.”
