Reese Anderson
Coach Reese was born in Riverton, WY and moved to Sheridan when she was 4 years old. She comes from a pretty big and mixed family. She has two sisters and 3 brothers.
Volleyball Experience
• “I always have had a volleyball in my hand from as little as one year old, and still have one now.”
• Her love for the sport runs deep as she started young and recalls her time playing for a team at the YMCA in Elementary school. This was her official start into the sport and learning to compete.
• Reese played at Sheridan Junior High, then went on to play a pivotal role on the Sheridan High Lady Broncs Volleyball team.
• She added value to her team as a six rotation outside hitter where she made a difference in both the front and back row.
Why do I coach?
“I coach to share my love and passion about volleyball, and to bring positive energy to the sport and the girls no matter the circumstances. I have loved being able to teach things they may not have known in the past or just new skills in general.”
What do I look forward to teaching my team?
“I am so excited to teach my team to love the sport and their teammates, but also to teach them the fundamentals about the sport.”
Why the philosophy of coaching "person first, athlete second" is important to me:
“Our philosophy “person first, athlete second” is important to me because being a good person is far more important than being a good athlete.”
Other Tidbits
